4. Google Account Data & Google Calendar

If you choose to connect your Google Calendar, Wingit requests access to the Google Calendar API using the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.events scope. This section explains exactly how we access, use, store, and share your Google data.

  • What we access: With your explicit consent, we access only the calendar.events scope, which lets us create and manage calendar events. We do not read, display, or use any of your other calendar data or events that Wingit did not create.
  • How we use it: Solely to create a calendar event for a call you book through Wingit, attach a Google Meet link, add the participant as an attendee, and update or cancel that event if the call is rescheduled or cancelled.
  • How we store it: We securely store the OAuth tokens Google provides so we can create these events on your behalf, along with references to the events we create. We do not copy or retain your broader calendar contents.
  • How we share it: We never sell your Google data or share it with third parties. It is used only to provide the scheduling feature within Wingit.
  • Revoking access: You can disconnect Google Calendar at any time from your Wingit settings, or revoke Wingit's access from your Google Account at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

Limited Use disclosure: Wingit's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

5. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information with guides you connect with, service providers who assist our operations, and when required by law.

6. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.
